Scar tissue

Does anybody know if Scar tissue can show up on an MRI or anything? Or do you not know it's there untill you accually go into the knee?

Scar tissue can show up on an MRI, but unfortunately MRI's frequently miss it.  A lot also depends on the skill of the OS or radiologist reading the MRI.  I also believe that one of the scar tissue (arthrofibrosis) specialists frequently mentioned on this board can diagnose scar tissue based on a physical examination of the knees and xrays.
