how many of us are there?
« on: November 30, 2006, 07:40:00 PM »
Gosh... I am new to this site (OSurgeon recommended it)... I am surprised by how many postings I am reading.  and particularly with my own concerns of OA at stage 4-5, at the grand old age of 34! ....but saying this... my new 'top rated' apparantly surgeon says I am not suitable for cell replacement .... 'damage too bad for cells to work, make a difference'...

how many of us are there?  Is is down to the fact that the NHS in their previous wisdom removed useful cartlidge?  Is it down to our lifestyles?  Constant drive at primary for sports education and p.e., evolution?

or is it down to the fact that family medical history has alot to answer for?

good luck anyone suffering or anyone bracing themselves for ongoing treatment
