Upcoming Oxford Knee Replacement
« on: November 29, 2006, 02:41:49 AM »
Hello all
I am new to the site and found you all while doing my never ending research on the Oxford Knee. I am scheduled for a left Oxford UKR on December 26, 2006 . I am anxious to hear how those who have had the procedure are doing.
It was a long process for me to get to the point of the Oxford - as well as a long story.
I work as an RN in a small community hospital - so being on my feet all day has the knee hurting terribly by the time I go home. My goal is to be able to walk 30 minutes at a fast pace without pain - and I hope this will be acheived with the Oxford.
So please share with me your experiences (the good and the bad).
Look forward to hearing from you.
Beth
