8 weeks and back
« on: November 27, 2006, 01:18:32 PM »
Just to let people know that there is success with regard to knee injuries.

8 weeks ago I had a Knee Arthroscopy and had a piece of cartilage removed that I tore playing Football (Soccer to some!).

Saturday marked my return and I managed 45 minutes. Was supposed to be the last 15 minutes, but the game went to extra time. My calfs hurt a lot at the end and I was blowing out of my backside, but had no ill affects from the knee. Woke up Sunday and the Knee still felt alright.

Thank you to everyone who took time to answer my original post and to all those who wished me well with the op.

I am hoping that this will be my last post, but who knows.

Good luck to everyone with their various conditions.

Well done -   its super to hear from somebody who had knee problems and returned to 100% fitness - very rare indeed.

Best wishes
