Hi Janet,
Today was work day # 2...4 1/2 hours, then PT.  I have a doctors appt tomorrow morning at 9:30 and maybe I will go into the office for a bit, depending on how I feel tomorrow.  I will play it by ear.

Have a good night and stay warm.

Well, a small bump in the road...found out yesterday that I have a polyp in my uterus that needs to come out.  So I'm scheduled for 2/16 which is a friday, and that Monday is a U. S. holiday (Presidents Day) so I will have an extra day to recuperate.
Not exactly in my plans, but could have been worse...

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Bonnie: I'm sorry it justs seems to be one thing after another. I hope this isn't a big deal for you. I think I would scream if I found out anything else that needed to be dealt with right now. I'm getting tired of my knee now. I'm ready to return to "normal"! I know it's too early for me to expect that yet, but I can dream! Anyway, good luck to you...with your knee, your polyp, your work, everything!

Thanks girls.

It will be outpatient, the whole thing is 30 minutes, I'll be home before I know it.

Hop, how funny - one good body out of all of us...this body needs lots of help.

Janet, it will happen, I promise.

I can help with a left leg. About now, you can have it! I guess I'm feeling cranky today.

Today was my "trial run" to work. I drove myself(!) and took my lunch to say hello and eat with my work friends. It's about a 25 minute drive and I stayed a little more than an hour. That was enough. It's clear I'm not ready to return to work this week. I'm glad I put it off a couple of weeks. But it was good to see my friends and see what my office looks like!

Janet,
Smart to make a trial run of it and now you won't need to feel guilty.

My left is now my "good" knee, so I have a right knee to add to the pile...

And there's more...Just came from the spinal surgeon (my OS referred me back to the spinal OS because of my hip and back pain).  Seems like I have bursitis in my hip which got inflamed doing PT.  I aslo have a herniated disc with disc space worsening that is also causing pain an could be pressing on a nerve, so I will continue with PT and sees the spinal OS in 6 weeks.  We will then discuss whether or not it is something I can live with.  He explained that 95 % of all surgery he does is minimially invasive.
Time will tell.  Maybe when I'm all done, I will have a truly bionic body.  :)

OMG Bonnie, will you stop already! You're just showing off now with all of these ailments!  ;)

Psst, girls, come here don't let Bonnie hear....Do you think she really is having an affair with someone from the orthopeadic office?

Seriously though I really hope PT can improve any symptoms that you are feeling. I thought we'd all have to be old ladies before all this popped up! Ah well, we must be special.....(needs!)

Annie - Anj  - Bonnie - Spare left leg pile! Laugh I almost peed my knickers!!!  :) ;) :D ;D

Janet - Glad you are testing out your capabilities rather than jumping straight back into it (like Anj did - tell tom tit I know! Tee Hee)

Bonnie - Last Jan I had some abnormal cells lazered off from my cervix, was awake, only took about 10 mins and then done! It hurt a bit but nothing compares to a full knee and tibia dislocation!! I reckon I could squeeze out a sprog now ...easy......
*Crosses legs and pulls face like sucking a lemon!*

Happy Days

Hop  ;D
Oh yea - Annie - DOn't let them screw you out of money, go get em girl!  ;)

Annie, Hop,
think I just PIMP! You 2 are a hoot!  If you must know, both OS's are in totally different offices, but are friends, both are married and neither is hot...so there.
The shot seems to have worked a bit, just a bit sore from the injection - PT later today, we'll see.

Better get back to work ???
