Anyone know anything about an FDA trial that they have going right now for people with a chondral defect in a weight bearing area? It sounds similar to ACI, but they take cartilage from a NWB area and send it to Austria to be cultured and then two weeks later put it back in the WB area. I can't find any information on the internet about it. I'm a candidate for this procedure and there is a slot available, but I'm waiting to hear more information from my OS about it and of course, want to do some research.
