Glucosamine, etc
« on: July 21, 2007, 07:31:28 PM »
Hi all,
I was talking with my OS about my knee cartilage problems & trying glucosamine, chondroitin, & MSM.  He said I should only take pharmaceutical grade supplements.  I would appreciate it if people would recommend pharmaceutical grade supplement brands available for sale in the USA.
Thanks,
Neil.

My OS recommended Osteo Bi-Flex, widely available in the U.S.

triple flex is made by "Nature Made"  It is highly rated for putting all the ingredients in the product at the listed levels.

I've been taking for a month and am feeling great - going running tomorrow a.m. after a long bout w/a severly bruise, arthritic knee.

good luck
jeff

Hold on to your money instead. The stuff is very expensive and it probably won't work. It's also not regulated by the FDA so you have no idea what you're really getting.

My doctor also recommended Osteo BiFlex. There is another product called Trigosimine available at wallgreens or CVS pharmacy that works much better. At least, in my experience.
