Plica Syndrome
« on: September 07, 2006, 04:09:08 AM »
Anyone have their Plica cut in their knee??  I did.  Is this normal for a doctor to cut the plica?  Anyone get that type of surgery?

Please let me know.

Hey Mark~

I had this surgery done almost two years ago.  It honestly didn't do any good for me at all, because my pain wasn't exactly coming from the plica.  My problems where subluxations, dislocations, and maltracked kneecaps.  I felt pretty good for about two weeks, then was back at square one of everything.   Hopefully you have a better result than I did!!
