Hello all...
I am a newbie and just wanted to comment that you all are a riot.
Some of the recipes look so yummy and I can't wait to try them when I am up and cooking again.
For now, the fiancee is doing all the cooking (lots of forzen foods, but hey, its food).

I have a recipe that is simple, and very very yummy.

Slice bottom round beef into 1/2 inch strips,  as well as 1 red and 1 green pepper into strips and about 6 button mushrooms.
Combine beef, veggies and 2 cups Spaghetti sauce in a slow cooker (Crock Pot). Season with crushed red pepper, oregano, salt and pepper.
Cook in slow cooker on lowest setting for 6-8 hours.  Once beef is tender and falling apart, it is done. Serve over white rice.

Not the healthiest, but yummy. Also good for leftovers on a bun for a sandwich!

Hope you all don't mind me jumping into your post. I will look forward to the rest of the yummy recipes!!

Banana and sugar sandwich

Apple and cheese - that is lovely, and colslaw (homemade with red onion) and cheese.

Dinner tonight - Egg and Bacon and toast - hubbies favourite - and sooo easy ;D - actually it is the only thing left in the house to eat until I get paid tomorrow (I have got a bit of cash left but my son needs a shirt and a gum shield - so will get that - what a good mummy ;D)
