Mince meat here is apples and raisins and such to make a pie.  Mince meat pie.

Hamburger would make meat balls for spaghetti.

So,  what is mince????  this is crazy!!!

Just thought of another delicious quickkie for you....
peel potatoes and slice them like into scollop shape and boil till cooked.
slice chicken breast into thin slices, chop onion and slice mushrooms, fry it all.(can even add peas).
Then once all cooked, get a deep dish, put some of the fried food in the bottom, then a layer of potatoes, then another layer of the fried food and a final layer of potatoes, then add a creamy mushroom sauce and grate some cheese (I use chedder cheese) and sprinkle on the top.
Pop into the oven for about 15-20 mins and theres a delicious meal.

We have mince meat for pies too.

But the minced meat, is beef, or lamb that is placed through a mincer, that sort of shreds the meat, I'll try and do a pic of it for you.
Hold on.....
It may not turn out right though as its frozen... LOL

I guess I need to buy some chicken on my way home.  I have printed 3 recipes from Jules that sound yummy, quick and easy.  I have to run into ( ya right  run?)  walmart on the way home.  guess I will pick up some chicken for dinner.

Anja, thanks for the thread, this is great!!!!

That is wayyyy to funny.

Hamburgers  is somthing round and flat that you fry or grill and put in a bun.  Hamburger is the meat.  At least to Americans!  Now we know.  Mince meat is hamburger, here anyway,

Way too funny.

Way to funny,  yup.  made me laugh.

that is a frozen hamburger alright.  I don't buy hamburgers all ready like that.  I just buy hamburger, or mince,  and make a burger out of it.

Thanks for the fun.
