clicking in good knee
« on: August 31, 2006, 03:32:58 AM »
I had a tibia plateau fracture at knee march 13,2006 rom is 118 with physio therapy non weight bearing for 9 weeks lots of muscle loss. Now when going up stairs have a clicking in good knee right knee could this be from overusing this knee by over compensating.physiotherapist says I may have some arthritis but I didn't have this before now only noticed it within last week or so. Walk up stairs leading with right knee and then bad knee but only have clicking in right knee good knee.Any ideas would be appreciated.

Could be either of it or nothing special. As long as you don't have pain you don't need to worry. Many people live with clicking in their knees and have no problems with their knees.
Hope your rehab goes well.
