Yes Tegs and get and loose some of that weight, you will be thankful in the future, your weight is only doing more damage to your joints, I had to too, I lost 4 stone in 9 months before some my 3rd bilateral arthroscopies, and its well worth all the hard work and effort! Keep it up and no Chocs.... have a carrott!!!! LOL

Jules if i didnt want my life back I wouldnt be on here asking questions,

ITS MY first op and i am a very nervous person! i am listening and learning from here everyday!

I do my exercises 3 times a day 10 reps. i walk up the garden path and back I am learning to walk heel down1st again

The reason im on here is to get my life back!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course not Tegs, I know exactly what your going through, at one point I was on antidepressants I was so low, I'm just trying to lighten the mood, and get you laughing, it helps to have a laugh about things, we shouldn't be serious all the time, should we?

i know and i am the most funniest person in the world when i want to be, but scince this i just havent been myself do you know I think i have cried my weight in tears!!!! pitty its not water retention!

YOU DIDNT OFFEND ME AT ALL... its just I want to make sure im doing everything the right way and if getting on with it cures my stiffness then so be it

I am scared that the stiffness is going to break something when I put my foot down!! stupid i know! but hey im only human!

You do not have to wait until doing physio to ice your knee. If you are still having swelling you should ice throughout the day, but no more than 20 minutes at a time and wait at least an hour before icing again. And, it's particularly important to ice after exercising or other activity, like going to the grocery store, to prevent an increase in swelling.

Yes you can ice at any time, but its good to ice after exercising the knee too.

No you won't do any more damage, if your OS has not said that you should specifically stay on your crutches for a matter of weeks, then you can come off them, what did they say after your op?
