prayerful support
« on: May 02, 2003, 03:49:39 AM »
Could I ask all the members of the forum to please say a prayer or (for non-religious) spare a moment for a kind thought for Ellen.  She has been on my heart these past weeks and, not knowing her progress, I am most concerned for her.

Please, as a group, let us focus on the folk in the greatest need of our support and pray for their pain to be eased.  We can all find real strength in the support of others in greater need and I ask you all to dig a little deeper into your own meager reserves and pray for Ellen.
I'm a grumpy old bear with a busted knee.  The growling you hear is my tummy rumbling!

I'm with you, Ross.  I've been thinking about her, too, wondering what is going on.

When I told my PT yesterday about Ellen's experience, he was outraged at the length of time it took to get her diagnosed and in treatment.

She's going to have a long, hard recovery, but hopefully our support will help her through.

Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with her and her family right now.

I'm sure Ellen will appreciate this thread knowing we are all thinking of her in so many different ways.

I will let you know as soon as I hear anything.
