you girls are having way too much fun without me!!!

Annie,
I didn't have internet acess in the nursing home and the only thing that saved me was my Treo 650, I was able to send Anja emails (when I remembered - the morphine must have got in the way) and then she posted for me.  Although if I remember correctly, it didn't work for a couple of days.   I was able to acess kneegeeks, but could never actually read posts.
I have all the info on my treo backed up on my computer, phone #'s, calendar, etc.  I even played solitare on it.

From my experience in the nursing home, you can "sign out" if you want to leave for a few hours.  I never did, but since for me the weather was so nice, I was able to sit outside.  I t also depends on how many times a day you will have PT.

Morning Ladies

How goes it today? I have blue skies outside of my little office window today which is so lovely to see. I'm all excited about Christmas, my birthday and the prospect of having Monday off and a long weekend! Going shopping with my mum, I love days out with her, we always have a blast. In the centre of the city at the moment that are loads of Chritmas stalls, one of them sells all different kinds of cured meats, bought some lovel chirizo, yum! There's candy floss, ni nac stalls, a merry go round, the kind with horses. Love it all! Am going to cook my chestnuts tonight, yum!

The hospital is in Paterson. It is about a good  10 to 15 min drive and Saddle brook is pretty close as well.

Just did a strange thing -
Annie for you..........

I re read my fist couple of pages of my thread and thought - OMG Think I might be worried if I was reading that from a pre op persons view - BUT remember - it is the worst bits you remember at the time to write down - when I think back over the last nearly five months - it was OKAY !!

Not long now hun!
