UK Girl !,

Not sure if it is my computer but I could not respond to your PM  :(!

Thank you for the words of encouragement and the straight shooting talk!  I read  your PM and your thread here....from the sounds of what you went through in 06 sounds similar to what I went through in Aug of 06 with the HTO/ACI.  Pain management is not fun....especially when the docs cannot figure out what is wrong.

Best wishes and if I could figure out how to reply to your PM I would certainly do it!

Regards,

Mike :)

Hi Anje.

Dont remember seeing your thread on this section before but have found the right section for moral support and suggestions. So your new knee had its 3rd Birthday already, have you had many problems since your TKR or feeling the benefits of it already.

You been very kind posting on my thread and will try and post on yours regular as well as I do for Lenore, Kirsty, Allie and Farrah. My appointment went well yesterday with my AS psychologist and told him my concerns about a scope but has put my mind at ease and not so worried about my scope anymore. He told me he had a scope on his left knee to remove some torn meniscus and told me its nothing to worry about and will do me a laminated card on key points on how to overcome anxiety with my knee worries.

Nick :) {2009} :)

Just finished your diary it took me a few days ( Many thanks great reading ). Wow what a journey you have been on.

Hope your knee is still behaving it's self.

How is your shoulder now?

I am on week 3 of a LTKR things are going ok just getting a little cabin fever and fed up of not being able to sleep through the night.Things will get better I know.

All the best

Julie  :)

Hi Julie good to hear you have your new knee ! 3 weeks is early days so just do one day at a time and keep taking the meds and keep at that physio !

Thanks for reading the diary :)  I have a look at it every now and then - good reminder of how far I have come!
The shoulder is still giving me jip - mainly the inability to move it in certain directions without it causeing bad pain.

The knee is good - still have the odd bad day with it - don't know whats going on there but not enough to let me let someone interfere with it !

Take care and keep up the good work !
