Crunchy Noises
« on: June 07, 2006, 02:01:25 PM »
I learn taekwondo and I injured my left knee one month ago while kicking, probably because I didn't warm up. It was painful :'( to my knee when executing kicks at first. But after a week, it healed. However, I can still hear the crunchy noises when standing up from a squatting position. I feel no pain though. So, is the problem serious? ???

Don't worry too much but if in doubt do go and get a medical opinion to ease your fears. Check out the dictionary on site and look up crepitus, there are some links to more information about it and it may help you decide if you want to get it checked out. As it says though, when it's not associated with pain your GP isn't likely to be too worried.
