Hi, I'm new here and wanted to tell ya'll where I live - right now I'm living in Hampton Roads, VA but I grew up in Northern Indiana. I'm in the Navy so I've lived all over.

I live in Muskegon Michigan, actually across the BIG LAKE (Lake Michigan) from Milwaukee WI.   Sometimes the weather here is killer for knee pain (damp and cold ALOT.)  Too bad I can't use the "hand thing" Michiganders use to show where they live!  But here is how it goes:  Put your right hand palm facing you (thumb to the right).  You then take your finger and put it about 1/3 of the way up the outside of your palm (pinke side).  That's about where I live.  If you look at a map of the US, Michigan is the one that looks like a mitten, hence the "hand thing".

Hope I didn't confuse you too much. ;D

i live in Warrenton, Va. It's about 30 minutes from Manassas and an hour from Washington D.C. People always make fun of where i'm from, mainly cause of the county name (Fauquier County) and it always smells (lots of farms everywhere, and cows, and horses). there aren't any malls in the county, or any movie theaters so there's not much to do for fun other than get into sports (for me it's marching band) or go watch football games at one of the 2 high schools. The town is small, but i love it. 8)

Hey!  I play clarinet too!  I was never first chair though.  Great work.  It smells funny here to as we have a paper mill in town.  How bad just depends on which way the wind is blowing.

(Of course High School was 20 some years ago for me, so I am really rusty, ask my kids ;D.)

That's cool. It's always nice to know fellow ppl who are in band (or did it in the past). yea, i'm only first chair in the lower band, but for the audition higher band, i'm 3rd chair. and in marching i'm section leader cause only me and one other person auditioned for it lol. but hey, it works.

yea, it does depend on what season for the way it smells. like right now, when i ride the bus home, it smells really really bad but i'm used to it, but it still smells like poo lol.

^ I'm coming up to Murfreesboro for 5 weeks and staying at MTSU for Governor's School for the Arts. Hopefully it's better than Memphis. In one weekend we had 4 homicides... the only good thing about living there is that once you get out, you have rep for making it out alive. Hooray for living in the 2nd most violent state in the US!
7.22.2004: horseback riding accident :(
5.9.2008: scope + plica removal on left knee.
12.16.2008: de-plica-tize my right knee.

I was born in Richmond, Virginia. I then moved to Florida when I was 13, spent less than a year in FL, then moved out here to rainingeveryday-nonsouthernhospitality-webfoot-baddrviers-awesomeschooled Oregon.

i am getting ready to move to NC. I miss it on the east coast, and i cant wait to get back to see my dad, who lives in virginia, whom i havent seen for 2 1/2 years.
