Knee Brace and swelling
« on: May 03, 2006, 08:34:25 PM »
I have a swollen knee, and i wear a Knee brace for everyday duties. the swelling doesnt seem to be going down atol, could this be because of the heat inside the brace. Has anyone had similar problems?
Mniscus removed form right knee
Miniscus removed from left knee
ACL ruptured left knee
ACL recon left knee

Back playing football, 5 times a week and arguably as fit as i was!!

The brace will actually help control swelling because it compresses it, leaving it less room to swell. Have you tried icing your knee at the end of the day? That would always be good too!
