i fell down the stairs.... again
« on: April 17, 2006, 09:21:53 PM »
i've been having a lot of issues with my knee.  i have plica and pfps syndromes. but it's been giving out on me a lot more lately. and lastnight i was going down the stairs, and i was on the 2nd step and my knee gave out on me. so i ended up landing on my knee at the bottom of the stairs. a few weeks ago i ended up falling up the stairs because it gave out on me. usually i have been able to tell when it's going to give out so i know to hold on to something, but the past few times it has given out on me without warning. is anyone else having this problem?

Hey Ash,

My knee gives out on me daily but for different reasons from yours. I think under the circumstances you should see your doctor/OS asap and hopefully they'll be able to resolve it for you. Maybe it's something to do with the condition of your knee generally where faliing twice in a short period of time has aggravated the condition.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Take care,
