Hi everybody here. I am sooo happy I found this site. It's nice to read and see that there are people with similar problems.
5 weeks ago I had close wedge high tibial osteotomy in order to shift the weight more to the lateral side. I also had arthroscopy done at the same time (cleaning,...).
I was doing very well after the surgery - my ROM was 0 - 130 deg. and the pain was not so bad until two weeks ago.
Last two weeks I have quite a strong pain on the lateral (outside) part of my knee - mainly below the knee where the osteotomy was done and where are all the screws. I went for the check to the doctor and he said I need to have complete rest without any rehab and minimum moving and he believes that I have overdone the rehab. For last 10 days I am not doing any exercises but it still doesn't seem to improve much. It aches mainly when I try to move my leg and in the night it is very difficult to sleep.
Anyone here had similar problem?
Thanks for the answers
jane
