good OS in London, UK?
« on: March 22, 2006, 11:50:59 AM »
I need a 2nd opinion on my knee. I've been told that Briggs at Royal National Orthapaedic Hospital is good, also names that have been given to me are Fares Haddah, Panos Thomas and Graham Holloway.

Has anyone ever been to see any of these guys? I want to meet an OS who is happy to spend time explaining what my options are and is not the type of person to just spend 5 minutes with me.

Thanks.

Hi Maneesh

I'm afraid I don't know the consultants you have mentioned but someone told me about this link the other day...

http://www.drfoster.co.uk/localServices/consGuide.asp

It shows consultants in different areas, their skill set and waiting times etc.

I wish you the very best of luck in getting the answers that you seek.

I have seen Graham Holloway and I got a thorough examination (like no other) and a spot on diagnosis. Very good.

Hello Mate,

I saw Dr Glen Vardi at the London Knee Clinic, he was spot on with what i had done to my (tore my ACL playing rugby) he was really friendly and talked through the entire op and what would happen afterwards and the rehab etc..

he then did the op 9 days later..... and then 7 months later i was back playing rugby !! Even after the op he is always there if u need to chat about things regarding your knee, he likes to know how things have gone for you..

All in all and very good OS........

if you play sport and wanna return this him !!

Regards

Barry
