post-patellar surgery
« on: March 13, 2006, 04:04:46 PM »
Hello folks. Certainly a handy forum around here.

I broke my petella, and the attached tendon, while on a motorcycle (not my fault >:( ).  I only chipped a piece of the petalla off so the surgeon put it back in (90% of it) and of course reattached the tendon.

The accident was about 10 months ago, and I was done with rehab about 4-5 months ago.  Every once and awhile when I do a squat or similiar movement, it sounds like there is paper/velco in my knee ripping.  Is this OK?  I don't want to run into problems later on with tearing/ripping it again.  Its not painful, just worrisome.

Thanks in advance.
