Hurt Knee
« on: March 13, 2006, 02:51:42 PM »
Last year, my knee sustained a blow to the front.  It swelled, and I couldn't bend it for a week.  It finally healed.  Then, I started bicycing again and although there wasn't any significant pain, there was swelling after every ride.  My doctor said not to worry, just take anti-inflammatories.  He won't order x-rays.  It's a year later, and I can't bend that leg all the way back to do a hamstring stretch, and I can't get in certain yoga positions that require me to kneel.  It still swells after every ride.  Any idea what this is or how I can get rid of it?  Thanks!

Thanks to you both.  I didn't think that my GP was taking it seriously enough, and you've confirmed it.  I'll get a second opinion!
