It's a long shot but......

Does anyone know how long i might have to wait for an ACL op at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich South London?

Hello!

Can't help you with waiting lists but i know a site that can!

Try www.specialistinfo.com and search for the hospital or the consultant and it will come up with average waits for each department.

Hope this helps.

03/95 - LR on left knee, 08/95 - LR on right knee, 03/98 - failed TTT left knee. Several scopes. 12/01 TTT and LR on left knee. Great for a while but now more problems.

No, but I know it used to be a really good hospital.
Mind you I'm going back to when it was still an army hospitl and i was still at school.

Now its bigger as it has now replaced what was Greenwich Hospital - its got A&E department and everything!
The Sports knee specialist is Mr Kumar - he also has a private pratice in Blackheath.
I wonder if anyone has heard of him and what he's like as a OS??

I hope its not as slow as all the other hospitals in England. So many people say how long the waiting lists are there. Netty
Broke the cruciate and damaged the medial and lateral ligs playing softball.Hammy ACl recon Feb 2000(failed).Hammy ACL recon Aug 01(failed).Medial repair and Lateral loop Dec 01(failed).Still unstable
