Yes, I've experienced the warm feeling as well as redness in my knee but I can't say why. I'm about 15 weeks post-menisectomy now, and this redness appears at the end of the day sometimes when my knee is tired. It's exacerbated by a hot shower. Just one of the many mysteries relating to this recovery I guess............

I've also had the same sensation in my knee (4 1/2 weeks post op, meniscus transplant).  It was very noticeable when there was a lot of swelling & fluids, less now.  I think it must have something to do with the healing/inflammation process--so it's not a bad thing.  I seemed to notice it more at night, probably because I ice down in the evening and it feels warmer by comparison to the area around it.....

I can walk a couple of miles one day and it'll be fine, do it another day and and it will heat up. It appears to be completely random but so far not painful so I haven't worried about it.
