-I'm about 7 weeks post op and I just started some light running again. I had an allograft so my hamstring is intact but significantly weaker from the months it was clamped in a brace. the last couple days (since my first time running) my hamstring area and the back of my knee has been really sore. Is this normal? I stretch it out whenever possible but the tense feeling won't go away. Any suggestions as to what it could be or how to stretch it out?

My PT has me laying on my tummy and has my leg at a 90 degree angle to a  .. i guess  180 degree // ( straight) line....

He put 2 pound weights on me .. but I hurt so much for 4 days afterwards....

also straight leg raises and side leg raises.

streching with the belt  .. lay on back bring leg up for  15 seconds
laying on tummy with belt and keeping 90 degree position for 15 seconds.

I was told behind the knee .. has the most complex set of muscles that help keep balance..

I am not a doc or Pt.. ..  I think when your knees go .. its normal to expect the unexpected. .. and the expected is the abnormal
