so i had surgery , and two weeks later i got hit with alll these health problems. dizzy, tingling extremities, muscle weakness, etc.  so i go through ton of tests and find out i have hashimoto's disease.. autoimmune disease of the thyroid.  so another doc tells me i also have an inner ear problem, causing the dizzyness.

so i have all these problems after surgery, and i begin to think maybe its the screws.  my knee still hurts a lot, been about 5 months post op now.  by the way i had ACL AND MENISCUS RECONSTRUCTION.  one bioabsorbable screw and one titanium.  im being tested for titanium allergy, and wanted to ask you guys about the bioabsorbable screw.
does it absorb into your body? or do you eventually flush it completely out of your body?  if so how long does this take?  because i was thinking i could be having an adverse reaction to the PLLA, and therefore its causing my immune system to be stressed out, therefore causing the thyroiditis.

if anybody has any info please help.
