poor range of motion after knee replacement 6/05
« on: January 24, 2006, 09:59:26 PM »
i had a total knee replacement in june- i have very poor range of motion. i had an artho. scope on 1/06-they found degenerated fibrocartilage- still poor r.o.m. no answers. i gi to another knee dr. tomorrow. why cant i move my leg if the scar tissue was removed as it was in the scope? went to the doctor 1-26-06. he said i may need anopther operation to loosen my thigh muscle, because i have so little range of motion after the scope was done. still going to p/t and have a cpm machine i use daily, with really no improvement. anyone know any doctors in nyc that specializr in arthrofibrosis.i am truly desperate to walk somewhat normal again. ant help would be appreciated!
