hi kwbg:  once again...good advice  :-\  i'll be at the dr's again mid-aug. so i will ask.  hopefully i will be the 'quick ' healer rather than the one that takes forever!
i don't really want to do anything to risk the healing part....it's really not worth it!  thanks for the advice...

Hi everyone,

The 7 year anniversary for my open-wedge High Tibial Osteotomy is coming up in January 2013.  Everything is still great for that knee.  I never did have my hardware removed, and nothing hurts!

The operation was certainly worth the intital post-operation and rehab. pain!
