torn ACL & PCL pre-op exercises
« on: January 15, 2006, 07:33:33 PM »
About a week ago I completely tore my ACL and partialy tore my PCL during my alpine ski race and I am not able to see my PT untill next week. I know that getting ROM back is extremely important and strengthening your muscles around the knee is also, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a few exercises I could/should be doing pre-op?    THANKS!!

Meg,

Have you checked out the section titled 'Specialist Dept.' - 'Cruciate Ligaments'.  That should help you find answers to your questions.  People that have similar injuries to yours post there.
Here is a good article on ACL injuries and exercises.  Good luck.  ~Shade
