Hi, My doctor says that I might get this after my knee surgery.  He never told me what it is.  Does anyone know what Reflex Sympathetic Dystophy is?   And the chances of getting it?   ???
39 year old w/chronic dislocations.
Had a difficult R shoulder repair open Bankhart reconstruction with scope assist in '96, MUA 5 mos later, '99 pin removal.
Feb 6 2006 open knee w/ scope assist VMO advancement w/ lateral release and knee alignment tightening of all muscles to knee.

Having said that, the US site quoted by Cari is more informative and easier to understand.
