Why is your doctor recommending HTO?? Is it an alignment issue? Are you bone on bone in the medial or lateral sides ? I am not sure about the difference in wedge or dome. I had a closing wedge femoral osteotomy. I am told I will still be having replacement in 10 to 15 years, but I was severe bone on bone in the lateral side. I had also developed a severe valgus deformity. I am also curious what is the doctor recommending.
