knees that go backwards to far
« on: December 30, 2005, 06:15:20 PM »

I have a friend, honest, who has knees that go back to far.  I will try to explain.  If you stand up and lock your legs and knees, it gets so far then stops.  however my friend can then sort of push the leg further, so the back of the knee appears to push out at the rear.

Is she just double jointed, is this an inherited thing.  Or can anyone explain further what this is.  It looks real kindy strange when she does it, and it can be seen through jeans it is so prominent.

Wow, that sounds funky..I have hyperextended knees... meaning they straighten then go legs looks like a in bow and arrows...this doesn't hurt, but it leaves the knee prone to injuries as knees over toes is easy to turns, change of directions etc....I have alot of problems with the right knee, but that's due to alot of things..not necessarely hyper knees..soooooooooo...what about her elbows turn around when my arms are straight...!!
