Shot #2 tomorrow
« on: December 29, 2005, 09:27:45 PM »
Well, onto shot #2. Bruise from #1 is fading so I guess it's time for another one! LOL! Hoping to feel a difference after this shot. While at the doctor's, I'm also going to ask him about my neck ache. Too bad there isn't a neck, shoulder, or thumb/wrist version of Supartz or the like for those other joints.

Got my shot yesterday afternoon. After some achiness last night, my husband and I went to Costco this morning and were walking back to the car with our shopping cart when I realized my knee hadn't hurt at all while we were there! Hooray! But of course, maybe 2 minutes later, when I kind of twisted around from putting my pocketbook in the car before we put stuff in the trunk, it hurt, but not terrible. I hope the improvement continues ;D

Caroline,

That is Great News!!!

Hope that you manage to find additional relief with the injections.  It is so nice to hear that something is helping someone.  Take it easy and don't overdo.  ~Shade

Definitely will take it easy. About a week after my next (and last) shot, I'm planning to get back up on my exercise bike. I've been doing it maybe 5 - 7 minutes every few days but not regularly (and for not nearly as long a time) as I had been doing before my knee acted up in October. I need to get back to it! I know it's a matter of time before my left knee will need the same shots as it is now just starting to get achy-not nearly as badly as my right knee was but is definitely beginning to have some stiffness.
