Knee Surgery in April
« on: October 29, 2005, 01:32:28 AM »
I had arthoscopic surgery in April.  They did a laterial incision, scraped the back of the knee cap (said it was rough) and also had a torn cartilidge repaired.  I went to physical therapy for two months, but it never stopped clicking (to this day).  I went back to the Dr's and he told me I had to exercise it to strengthen the muscles on the side of the knee cap to stop the clicking.  I started exercising it and developed pain around the cap.  I also no longer have a reflex in this knee. Also, the scar is not a thin one and still itches at times.  I walk with pain and limp still.  I am thinking about going to a different dr. for an opinion.  Any ideas on what is happening here?  Nancy

I think a second opinion sounds like a fabulous idea!
