It's been awhile, but Im back and need some help!
« on: October 27, 2005, 11:46:09 PM »
Hi everyone!!  Its been a couple months since I posted on here(see info in sig), I have decided to wait on my TTT since school and work are just more important at the moment.  My knee felt pretty good all summer, but had been achy since the weather has gotten cold.  My problem.... today I noticed a very weird feeling in my knee, I looked at it and discovered that its fluid filled (something thats never happened to me, except from surgery) and there is a small bruise on my kneecap (I possible walked in to something, i work at a daycare) so when I walk below my kneecap hurts, like in my meniscus area, and the knee feels week, but not too much pain in the PF area (at least no worse then usual).  I really DONT want to call the doc, as Im not even sure which OS Id call, but what should i do.  Ice, rest, call my family doc, could this just be a bruised knee and nothing more?  Thanks for any advice!!  ~Patti

I would deffinately see your doctor.  I had pain in my calf and it turned out to be a blood clot.  It may not be that but you should have it checked out just to be sure.
