knee problem. any ideas
« on: October 02, 2005, 10:20:06 AM »
hi, i had 2 ACL recons about 12 yrs ago.  all fine until recently.  knee went again (dislocated) about 1 month ago side passing a football using inside of my foot.  saw os who thick ACL is still there although a bit lax and am currently waiting for MRI results.  every time i have any lateral rotation or pressure of my foot (possibly my tibia) my knee feels like it's going to give way.  anyone have any ideas.  many thanks

Matthew, If the knee feels unstable if you externally rotate it (outwards), then you must have torn your ACL. Has your OS done the reverse pivot shift test on your leg?
