FYI, Federal Blue Cross does pay for OATS, depending of course on whether your Dr says it was "necessary," which I assume most would. One key, however, is to select a Dr in the preferred provider network. Doing that will waive whatever fees are in excess of the insurance policy's cap, which can be quite significant in the OATS context. Definitely try to find a hospital / doctor who are in your network before going through with it.
