Knee Pain, Confused Need Help Please
« on: July 05, 2015, 02:25:40 AM »
So about a month ago I was playing basketball and idk what happened, it seemed all normal but after that game I could feel a dull pain in my knee. There were no bruises or nothing, no pop sound but the pain continues.

I am able to put all of my weight on my knee and it doesn't hurt. I can jump, run do whatever and it won't hurt. But after like say an hour of physical activity like playing ball again it'll ache after the game. It isn't unbearable pain, but it just catches my attention and has never happened before.

When I move me knee very specifically, like in only that direction it will start hurting, more than just a dull ache. It'll hurt when I move it specifically in that direction even if I haven't taken part in any physical activity.

Also when I've been sitting criss crossed for a while on a chair or couch and then try to outstretch my leg it'll start paining when it's straight, and will continue to do so as long as my leg is straight, a similar pain happens when I jump straight up. This pain will go away soon enough though once I get my knee moving around or where the knee isn't straight.

Also wanted to add this in as it might be helpful. It's my right knee that hurts and the part where it will pain the on the right and outer side of the knee

I've continued in engaging in psychical activity, I haven't seen it worsen much but I haven't seen it get any better either. I'm just confused on whether I should get it checked and would like some guidance, maybe someone has experienced similar or may know what it is. Any help is appreciated please and thank you.

Hi Arsh19

I think that you should have your knee examined by a qualified Doctor.
