numbness lateral side of knee
« on: September 14, 2005, 06:58:33 PM »
I've had this numbness on the lateral side of my left knee for a couple of months now.  ITs not swollen nor does it hurt to walk run or excercise.  It only hurts actually burns when something is rubbing againest it.  When I get into bed at night it burns with the friction from the sheetsand  then it goes away completely.  Any ideas what this could be?   I do alot of running and excercising at the gym.

could be some agravated nerve bundles in the lateral retinaculum or ITB.  You should check it out with your doctor.

Goodluck and take care
