9 months after surgery still pain
« on: September 10, 2005, 02:08:01 PM »
I don't know all the terms, but I was injuried at work Oct/1/04 and had surgery 12/23/04. I had a Meniscus Tear and a cyst ( inside about 2:00 looking at a clock) I have had PT and all of that. I am still having pain especially when I lay down at the cyst site at times it's constant other times it comes and goes. Ortho doctor says if not better by Oct. 21 he would give me a steroids shot nothing else to do. The area still swells and the more I walk at work the more it will hurt.
Brace helps, but when I get home and in bed it will start hurting again.
Does anyone have any ideals what this might be?
Thanks,
Mary
