ACL Recontruction 16th Sept

I tore my ACL over 18 years ago and had to give up all contact sports. However after finally going
skiing in Feb this year for the first time ( with the aid of a brace ), I am going in for a ACL reconstruction
and cartlidge repair. Are there any pre-op excercises that I should be doing now that will aid in the rehab ?

Work on building up your leg muscles as you'll be amazed how fast they atrophy if you are put in a brace for more than a week.

01/09/05 lateral meniscectomy (40%)
09/06/06 Patella tendon aclr
09/09/06 Back on the tramp (carefully)
10 years on and still going strong
