Hi all,

Managed to get to physio today. Seemed to be much more intensive than usual. Tried desperately to complete exercises but got absolutely nowhere. Still, will keep trying. Have managed to rest my knee. Pain has eased off a little but is still unstable. I am having difficulty in standing on it and walking. Not so much of a problem as I'm still on crutches in any case. Just wish the pain management aspect was a little easier. I'm still off work - not in any rush to go back, as I usually would be. Just gonna take it easy. Must admit - it's hard not to keep feeling sorry for myself.

Regards,

Laura.

Howdy doody,

OK - I'm finished with feeling sorry for myself now. I've finally resigned myself to the fact that I'm always gonna have knee pain no matter what so I may as well get on with it!   ;D

I'm almost looking forward to the MRI scan. How twisted is that?!  :o I'm almost sure, too, that it won't show anything. So, does that mean I'm staying positive or am I an eternal pessimist? Food for thought, eh?  ???

Have been using my crutches even more so thanusual and wearing a stabilising knee support. Neither inspire me with confidence but I thought the pain would have at leat worn off a little. Most f it has - I'm now just left with the same on fire" burning sensation down the outside of my knee and a dull ache which refuses to go away. Will ahve to get some stronger pain meds. Any ideas, please let me know.

regards,

Laura.

hi Guys,

This pain is incredible! I never knew it could be so bad. Having my son was much easier than this!   :o

Have just woken up. Been asleep with the help of pain meds and anti-inflammatories for almost 24 hours on and off. Can anyone suggest any meds that won't make me sleep. After all, life goes on and I don't give in quite so easily.

Thanx,

Laura
