8 months after having holes drilled and having lots of pain
« on: August 23, 2005, 06:56:57 PM »
I had surgery back 8 months ago, had holes drilled into the bone.  I have pain below the site where he drilled.  Is this common? I can't put my full weight on it and if I do it feels as though my knee would go out.  Please help, I have an appointment this coming Monday and he wants to do a corticosterone shot.  I really don't want this.

Check out the bone marrow stimulation thread under arthritus. Lots of us have had microfractures. It is a sssllllloooowww and painful recovery. I tried cortizone but I am one of the unlucky ones that it didnt help
