The pain continues
« on: August 04, 2005, 04:22:18 AM »
I've had shots of cortisone in both knees. I went to the walkin and the doc put me on medical leave.. turns out I have water on my knee and he wants to drain it. He says there is not guarantee that it won't come back.   Any suggestions??? I twisted my knee. The surgeon never said anything, he said it would heal itself. Turns out I never should have been walking on it.. I wish someone would figure this out and help me here.

Sorry you're having knee problems.

Have you seen an Orthopaedic Surgeon (OS)?  That would be my first sugestion, and if it was an OS I'd go get a secon opinion.  You have to feel comfortable with your doctor and his treatment plan.  Ask questions so you can determine your options.
