One Final Success Moment!!!
« on: July 19, 2005, 03:48:25 AM »
Hi!! I just wanted to let you know that there is success after a meniscus surgery.  I've posted before but I did something pretty huge over the weekend and I just wanted to share it.  First, my background, I had 30% of my meniscus removed after injurying my knee during a hockey game.  My surgery was in March of 2005.  This past weekend I participated in the Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk.  I walked 60 miles!!!! 20 miles each day!!!    ;DI was a little sore but today i feel great!! Don't give up!!!! Keep doing your exercises and hopefully you'll be back to normal like I am.  Things might look hopeless now but there is light at the end of the tunnel!! Good luck!!!
