Tingling???
« on: July 03, 2005, 07:12:35 AM »
I have injured my knee running track and found out that i tore my LCL and Meniscus. Lately, i have been getting this tingling feeling that goes all the way to my foot. Is my leg just falling asleep???  or does it have to do with a nerve??? Its more annoying than anything else. But is this something that i need to mention to my OS before i have surgery??? I usually get it when i am sitting down. any info would be nice!!!! thanks ahead of time.

Hugs

I would definately mention it to your OS before surgery. Even if your leg is just falling asleep, it is better safe than sorry.
good luck

Morgan,

I have a similar kind of feeling to what you are describing, but if I move my heel or lift my leg I get this numbing/tingling feeling from the top of my foot right up the front of my leg....
I am having surgery on Juyl 28 and certainly plan on telling my OS before the surgery as this is something that your OS should be aware of....

Good luck to you,
