Bursted bursa sac?? Is that possible
« on: June 30, 2005, 01:43:59 AM »
My husband has a big lump under his knee cap and it is swishy like it has water in it...also his calf and ankle is swollen and pits when you push it in....anybody have any ideas or remedies.  Oh!  It happened after he spent several hours on his knees in an attic working of someones electricity.  Thanks in advance for the help or advise or anything really!!  It has been this way for about two weeks.  Not really any pain unless he puts his weight directly on it. ::)

You hubby might have just overdone it.  Maybe using ice and elevating his legs would decrease the swelling.  N'saids would also help like Motrin etc. etc.  Ice the knee and calf area.....

If this does not work after a couple of days then you should have him go to his GP and have it checked out.

Good luck,
