leg length discrpenecny
« on: June 07, 2005, 02:55:58 AM »
Hey guys,
#1, thank you for all the advice.  My question is, I have one leg at least 1/2 an inch longer than the other, I think it is causing me problems.  When you first put the heel lift in your shoe, what does it feel like? Thanks to anyone who can give some advice here.

My leg is a half inch shorter from breaking my leg and having it surgically rebroken. I wear a 1/2 inch heel lift. It helps alleviate hip and back pain from uneven leg and helps control a bad limp. I wear it in my cross trainers but when I want to wear sandals , I go without. Shoe vanity usually wins out over the heel lift. Body alighnment is better with the lift. It doesn't feel bad , but you do notice the corrective affect.
