Tibial plateau fracture and 50% contusion
« on: June 03, 2005, 03:57:16 AM »
I injured my knee Dec. 13 of '04.  I have a bone contusion of the tibial plateau (over 50%) and a 2 inch fracture.  I am frustrated to the max about it.  I have been off of it, been babying it.  started rehab 4 weeks ago and the darn thing still hurts.  To complicate it, I have osteoporosis (only 42 yrs old).  I had a 2nd MRI done 7 weeks ago and the contusion is about 75% healed and the fracture has a nice white line, but is still not totally healed.  Anyone had one of the recent injuries or knows much about them??  Any info would be greatly appreciated.
